Several Application Techniques For Tattoos

Author: Jennifer Clason

Tattoos are everywhere and everyone is getting them from teens to grandmas.  You probably already know that tattoos are decorations on the skin like symbols, signs, and letters that are made by puncturing the outer layer of the skin and injecting color. Usually tattoo guns are the method of choice to apply them as they move fast and can puncture the skin fast.

They have many types of tattoo guns on the market and they all have very sharp needles. There are even guns out there that have more than one needle but they aren't very useful for making tight lines or intricate designs.  Guns with single needles are the best to use, however you must change the needle after every use. Needles must be disposed of properly and can be a cause of disease and infection if used on more than one person.

Other tattoo types are known as "jailhouse tattoos". These sorts of ink are made by incarcerated inmates who use homemade tattoo guns out of materials that they can find. Jailhouse tattoo artists will make their own tattoo guns out of batteries and ink pens, however these sorts of tattoos can lead to infection and aren't very safe. Just like a regular tattoo gun, the jailhouse tattoo gun will puncture the skin, although these types of homemade guns will pull and tear at the skin while going too deep with the ink and ripping the skin.

When the skin is jerked and ripped it leads to a very poor looking design that appears smudged. Also if the ink goes too deep in the skin it can cause an infection. Deep inked tattoos look terrible, especially if they puncture the third layer of skin. Jailhouse ink is usually applied to prove that you've done time and maintain your street credibility, but they aren't safe or recommended.

Color is important in any tattoo, however black and white are the most often used colors. They require an equal balance of color and the right shape. Also if you choose a design that follows the contours of your body, your tattoo will look even more impressive. And for that reason, you should always have one applied by someone who is very experienced.

Tattoos are technically a form a body modification and include micro pigment implantation. They are inked designs, usually symbolic or decorative that are permanently placed under your skin. While tattoos have been around for hundreds of years, the tattoo gun is a relatively common technique of application. In history, tattoos were applied with needles and ink and at a high risk of infection. However even if you do use a sterile gun by a professional artist wearing gloves, there is still always risk of infection because you're opening the skin.

The most common method of tattoo guns used today are electric tattoo guns. These electric guns make the ink injected into the skin by a group of needles that are attached to a bar. The electric gun is very fast and punctures the skin hundreds of thousands of times per second. If you plan on getting any sort of piercings and tattoos, experienced tattoo artists are always recommended as they have the experience and knowledge to give you the right results. By selecting the right tattoo artist, you'll always have a great design and good looking design.

Tips For Making Fresh Orange Juice

Author: Matt LeClair

Preparing orange juice may be one of the easiest tasks, and it you may or may not need to use a juicer. There are a number of different strategies which can be used to make orange juice which is one of the most popular types of juices to make because of it's high nutritional value and great taste. If you want to make juice, but are not sure which kind to make, then you'll definitely want to consider making some fresh orange juice. This article will let you know how to juice the oranges with using juicer of any kind.

You'll want to start by gathering up enough oranges to make a good amount of orange juice. Gently squeeze the oranges to get them softened up. This will make the actual juicing step much easier because it will make the oranges easier to work with. Wash the oranges thoroughly, cut them in half, and then remove any seeds that can be found within the orange.

With an orange half in hand, cut in a circular motion around the orange to slightly separate the orange from the peel. Do not cut the orange fruit completely out of the peel. Next with the orange in hand again, face the fruit downward and hold it over the serving pitcher and squeeze. The juice will run out of the orange half and into the pitcher. Rotate and squeeze the orange half until no more juice is produced from squeezing. Once this is done, you may cut the fruit portion out of the orange and place that into the serving pitcher as well for added pulp. Repeat this process with the remaining oranges and once you have a full pitcher of orange juice, place it in the refrigerator and chill until you are ready to serve it.

That's all there is to it. When you've completed this process you'll have a wonderful batch of orange juice ready to serve at any meal. There are other way to make orange juice, such as using juicers, but this is the quickest and easiest way to make a fresh batch of orange juice that can be placed directly on the table.

China Beer Industry Report, 2009-2010

Author: helenwang

China's beer sales volume reached 42.81 million kiloliters in 2009, and the ratio of output to sales achieved 101.3%. Regarding the regional market, the developed East China tended to be mature and stable, so both output and sales volume witnessed a slowdown in growth. However, the underdeveloped regions, the central and the west experienced an increasingly fast growth, thus China's beer market had been shifting to those regions. In 2009, Southwest enjoyed the highest growth rate in beer output, holding 20%, followed by Northwest with 14.8%. Meanwhile, the number of large corporations decreased by 38 compared with the figure in 2008 via a series of adjustments of China's beer industry. Such expansions and mergers among the large corporations are continued and gradually expanding towards the central and the west in 2010.

With regard to product structure, foreign brands such as Budweiser, Heineken and Carlsberg occupy approximately 70% shares in the high-end beer market. In the meantime, domestic beer brands are making great efforts to end the predicament of low profit and small return on investment, adjust product structure and develop towards medium and high-end market in a bid to increase operating income and net profit. Now, Tsingtao, Yanjing, Pearl River and Snow have already started to deploy in medium and high-end market.

The competition among domestic beer brands is intense. Snow has expanded its market share for four successive years since it topped the industry in 2006. Tsingtao takes the second place, with little change in market share; and followed by Yanjing, with a slight growth in market share.

The mergers and acquisitions are prosperous in 2010. Asahi, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Heineken and Carlsberg have become the second largest shareholders of Tsingtao, Pearl River, Kingway and Chongqing Beer respectively. Carlsberg has started to deploy in the west; spurred by Asahi, Tsingtao has further consolidated Shandong's market and expanded the East China market; Snow firstly entered Henan's market, followed by Tsingtao and Yanjing, all trying to seize the last market in the central from Jinxing. As a result of continuous mergers and acquisitions, the industry concentration has been continuously enhanced and 40% of China's beer market has been controlled by foreign capital.

The report firstly introduces the entire scale, output, sales volume and development trend of China's beer market in recent years as well as regional market characteristics and brand competition, and then analyzes M&A in beer industry, and M&A strategies of foreign enterprises in China. Finally, it delves into the operation, product features, marketing strategies and M&A trend of China's major nine beer breweries and six foreign beer ones.

Beatles Hit in New Beer Ad

Author: Jarrett Newton

Beatle Children's Song to Promote Beer?

Alright I'll admit I enjoyed it. At first I believed I was going to call for a ban on the King of Beers over their use of the Fab Four's All Together Now in a beer advertisement. But, after watching the advertisment, I actually like the remake and accompanying video.

See the Beatles Budweiser Ad here...
Beatles Budweiser Beer Commercial Ad

Maybe it's OK to keep the groupsmusic in the public eye so they will continue for eternity. Or, does it degrade the songs to use what Paul claims was written as a children's song to promote beer? Leave your comments below!

Budweiser had the advertisment filmed during five days on a train in Chicago. The beggining shot of the city skyline appears a lot like the beggining view of Yellow Submarine's Liverpool. The bud ad shows marching band bass drummers, a giant inflateable panda bear, football players, a bride and groom and other characters in Chicago acting out the song lyrics.

Budweiser doesn't have the legal right to the recording of the Beatles version of All Together Now, so they hired a band named The Hours to record an extremely similar carbon copy. Their version of All Together Now even includes the party noises and toy horn. I suppose All Together Now wouldn't end properly without the beep beep. The major difference is that the singer is a female, but with extremely Beatle sounding voices singing accompanying vocals.

Supposedly the Hours made their version in a room in a hotel using a fire extinguisher banging a radiator as percussion. Sounds extremely influenced by John Lennon's hotel bed-in recording of Give Peace a Chance. I quesion if it really was made in the band's hotel. But apparently there is film of the hours making it. So I guess I'm wrong in my speculation.

The members of The Hours have played with Robbie Williams, Joe Strummer, Elastica, Black Grape & Pulp. Right now the band is on tour opening for U2.

The advertising company responsible for the creative commercial stated they dedicated fifty hours during five days shooting the 300 actors from the commutter train trying to keep everything in time with the All Together Now words. It appears as if the ad agency did a lot of editing to to do it. Definitely not a single shot, which would've been extraordinary but out of the question.

The spot took a team of over a hundred crew members and an additional 35 sets in addition to the scenic Chicago backdrop and train.

The ad will be televised in the UK on July 4th. I suppose as revenge for the US declaring independence from England, we won't be able to see the spot in the United States.

Let the world know your thoughts on the Budweiser All Together Now commercial. Leave your comment!

Wine Making Equipment: Tools in Making Red and White Wines

Author: Jean Kokus

Agriculture and the love for good food gave birth to the practice of wine making. Good cuisine becomes better when wine is used as an ingredient or drank as accompaniment in dinners, formal or informal. Mesopotamians, Chinese, and Europeans have been making wine thousands of years even before Christ was born. Several archaeological finds exhibit different wine making equipment that were used by ancient civilizations like amphorae, bottles, and ladles. Wine making has not only existed for trade and commerce but done by a lot of people for reasons of personal consumption. When you make your own wine you could decide on its taste, color, texture, and age. You could even customize its packaging. Wine making is not only economical but very interesting and life-affirming. Imagine the delight that you behold in the eyes of friends and family when they get to drink your homemade wine.

White and Red Wines

White wines are made by separating the grape extracts from the skin right after pressing. Little contact between the extract and skin must be observed. This could be done by using any wine making equipment that could filter or strain the skin while the juice is poured into a barrel. The color of white wines vary because of the shades of color of the grapes used and fermentation period. Some of the famous white wines are Champagne, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Chardonnay. They all make great opening drinks in dinners and banquets. Lighter colored ones are called light-bodied and those with deeper shades are called full-bodied.

Red grapes make red wine. Deep purple and blue grapes make wines in similar shades too. Right after the pick and extraction, red grapes extract must placed in a wine making equipment such as a barrel or tank where they would absorb the pigments and other aspects of the skin. The longer the marinade sits, the redder the wine would be. The longer the fermentation period is, the longer is the contact of the juice with the skin. Red wines are classified according to the tannins or red skin pigment present. Light-bodied red wines have fewer tannins and leave lesser presence on the tongue. They feel like water when drank. A good example of this is Beaujolais Nouveau. Full-bodied red wines have the highest alcohol and tannin levels. They are heavier on the palate and with stronger taste. A Bordeaux and Super Tuscans are good examples of full-bodied red wines. Merlot, Shiraz, and Chianti are considered as medium-bodied red wines. Red wines could also be made from cherry, plum, strawberry, raspberry, raisin, gooseberry, and boysenberry.

Wine Making Equipment at Their Best

You could produce your own version of Champagne or Bordeaux at home. You need the grapes or fruits that you would use as the primary materials and a good set of wine making equipment that would make your home-based production cost efficient and easier. Log on to The Grape and Granary and see for yourself the best wine making equipment that you could fine in the planet such as barrels, racks, bottling implements, bottles, funnels, crushers, pressers, fermenters, and straining bags. They are all very user-friendly and affordable.
